Group Access Profiles within folders in Thinfinity Remote Desktop

Did you know you can group your Access Profiles within folders in Thinfinity Remote Desktop?
While this feature was originally available on Thinfinity’s web client, it has now been added to the Server Manager.

In order to create a new folder in the Thinfinity Remote Desktop server, you’ll need to select an Access Profile and move it over to another Access Profile, as shown in the image below:

Once it’s created, you can edit it, and change the name, and the permissions of the Profiles inside of it.

The name given to the folder will be displayed on the top right side of the Manager, once you open that folder. It will also display all the Access Profiles it contains:

If you want to remove an Access Profile from a folder, you need to select that profile, and move it to the two points (“..”) at the top of the folder list, as shown below:

Finally, you can completely delete a folder by clicking on it and pressing the delete folder option. Don’t worry though, if any Access Profiles were left inside the folder, they will not be deleted, as they will be moved to the main profiles list.
