Overview
Before you can use Cloud Manager, a Thinfinity® Workspace administrator must complete a one-time setup sequence. This chapter walks you through every step required to go from a freshly installed Thinfinity Workspace to a fully operational Cloud Manager environment.
If you already have Cloud Manager access and are joining as an additional administrator, you can skip ahead to Credentials. The earlier steps cover one-time activation work that does not need to be repeated.
The setup sequence follows this order:
Prerequisites — Verify that your environment meets the infrastructure, licensing, and account requirements.
Enable Cloud Manager — Grant Cloud Manager access to users and groups from the Configuration Manager or Web Manager.
Credentials — Register the cloud provider or on-premises hypervisor credentials that Cloud Manager will use to communicate with your infrastructure.
Cloud Manager Permissions — Understand the permission model and configure granular access rights for administrators and end users.
