Socks
In the Socks tab you will find the following parameters:

This tab only becomes available when the Socks option is checked in the Host tab.
The following table describes the available options.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Type | Type of Socks protocol to use. z/Scope supports svSocks 4, 4A, and 5 protocols. |
| Address | IP address of the Socks server. |
| Port | Port number of the Socks service at the host. |
| Requires Authentication | When connecting with svSocks 4A protocol and higher, provide a User ID and Password for authentication. |
| User ID | User ID for Socks authentication. |
| Password | Password for Socks authentication. |
