Display

In the Display tab you will find the following parameters for IBM Mainframe connections (3270):

Connection Edit Display Type Extended Attributes Device Name Suffix Graphic Escape Characters

The following table describes the available options.

Option Description
Display Type Resolution for the host. Available resolutions vary according to the type of host.
Extended Attributes Enables extended attributes for the connection.
Device Name Logical unit or device name for the connection.
Device Name Suffix Suffix method to use for several connections.
Enable Graphics Escape Character Enables graphic characters on the connection.

For AS/400 connections (5250), you will find some additional setting options:

Connection Edit Display SYSREQ Command Dialog Device Name Suffix Invalid Characters Null
Option Description
SYSREQ Command Dialog Enables a command line for the SysReq function.
Treat Invalid Characters as Null Substitutes invalid characters with null.
