Overriding Connection Configurations
All the advanced configuration options presented below are located in the web.settings.js file, found in your Thinfinity® Workspace installation directory:
C:\Program Files\Thinfinity\Workspace\web.settings.js .
This file allows you to edit the parameters for the available connection types in Thinfinity Workspace. Within the thinfinity_settings object, you can uncomment and configure the RDP, RFB, ZSC, FMX, DAV, WVPN, RBI, and VNC keys, each representing a connection type.
To enable and customize a section, simply uncomment the corresponding key and assign the desired values to its parameters. This will define the default settings for the Access Profile editors and the connection behavior.
A parameter such as autoDisconnectConnection, described in Global Connection Defaults (common.settings.js), can also be defined here inside a specific connection-type key, overriding the global value for that connection type only. It is not exclusive to FMX — it is honored by the standard remote-session connection types (RDP, RFB, VNC, ZSC, and FMX). For example, setting autoDisconnectConnection: false inside the FMX key applies it to Thinfinity® VirtualUI connections specifically.
