What is Cloud Manager
Cloud Manager is a Thinfinity® Workspace feature that enables administrators to centrally create and manage virtual desktop environments across multiple cloud and virtualization platforms, currently including Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle Cloud, Ionos Cloud, Hyper-V, VMware, Proxmox and Verge.IO. It supports full lifecycle operations — provisioning, starting, stopping, and allocating VMs (Virtual Machines) — through a unified interface.
Beyond managing existing cloud-hosted VMs, Cloud Manager also facilitates the creation of new VMs using predefined models or custom templates, offering a scalable and secure desktop experience for users on any device, from any location.
This chapter is a summary of the main characteristics of Cloud Manager. For detailed instructions on configuration and procedures, refer to the Cloud Manager Manual.
